We will discuss some of the other features that this program has to offer later in the article, although let’s move on to how you can refresh your iTunes library with iTunes.

Part 2. Update iTunes Library with iTunes

With iTunes being the standard program to use for Apple users out there, it doesn’t mean that it is the best option which is available. While that’s the case, for a lot of people who own Apple devices it may be the most convenient. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how useful iTunes can be when it comes to update iTunes library.

Step #1 – Start by launching the iTunes program. If you already have it open, close the program and open it once again to allow for your library to be updated.

Step #2 – Once loaded, click on the “Options” tab that can be found at the top of the program. From here, select the “Choose library” option.

Step #3 – After clicking on that option, locate the folder which iTunes has been installed to and choose that destination as your library. Once you’ve done this, your iTunes library will refresh itself automatically.

If this method doesn’t reassure you as much as you’d like and you’d like to take a more direct approach to the matter, then simply follow the steps below.

Step #1 – Just like before, launch or re-launch the iTunes program so that the library provides you with the most up to date information available.

Step #2 – On the iTunes program, click on the “File” tab at the top of the program and click on the “Add to Library” option.

Step #3 – Lastly, select the folder location of your iTunes library.

Both of these methods will provide you with a refreshed library and the most up to date information regarding your music as possible. There isn’t a lot to both of the methods we have discussed regarding iTunes and there is no guarantee that they will work, so there is a fair chance that not all of your library will be refreshed. So, let’s take a look at the final method we are going to discuss.

Part 3. Update iTunes Library with Copytrans

If you have tried using iMusic but found that it wasn’t quite for you, then the next suggestion would be to use the Copytrans program. With Copytrans, you are given a variety of different tools which allow for you to easily manage all of the data on your Apple device. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how you can use Copytrans to successfully and easily update the iTunes library.

Step #1 – First of all, ensure that you have both downloaded and installed the Copytrans program. After you have it installed, go ahead and launch it.

Step #2 – After you have launched the program and have it running smoothly, all of the music that is in your iTunes library will be displayed.

Step #3 – You may notice that not all of your music is displayed and that it will take a few minutes for all of the music in your iTunes library to be displayed, although this is just the program refreshing your iTunes library for you.

As hard as it is to believe, all you have to do is launch Copytrans for it to do its job. As mentioned before, while the concept is unbelievably simple, choosing this program over iTunes is the right option due to the number of issues that iTunes has had in the past.

A Look at iMusic

As we previously said, iMusic has a variety of other features available to all of its user making it one of the best programs out there for not only data management but more specifically music management. Some of the features that iMusic has to offer consist of:

  • iMusic is a program which is compatible with both Apple and Android devices.
  • If you recently purchased a new device, whether it be Apple or Android, you are able to easily transfer your whole music library in a matter of minutes without any problems.
  • Purchasing hundreds of songs to simply listen to on your device is completely absurd and is something which not many people can afford to do, especially since it is just music! With that in mind, iMusic provides you with the ability to download music from platforms such as YouTube and SoundCloud directly to your iTunes library.
  • A common annoyance among iTunes users is that some of the information which is stored on iTunes about their music is wrong. Whether it be the wrong artist’s name or a missing album cover. These things may not seem like a big deal, but noticing them every time that you listen to a particular song can become annoying. With iMusic, you are able to fix these errors and make your entire iTunes library error free.
  • As mentioned before, you can use iMusic to download music from multiple online platforms. While you are able to sync the downloaded music directly to your device, you are also able to use iMusic to burn the downloaded music and the music stored in your iTunes library onto a disc.
  • You are also able to use iMusic to backup all of the data stored on your device, not just your music library!

So as you can see, iMusic is a program which offers a lot more than just being able to update iTunes library. Each of the features that iMusic has to offer is incredibly useful to your average smartphone user, and to make things better, all of the features that iMusic has to offer are compatible with both Apple and Android devices.
